BTRC, the Belarusian national broadcaster has informed esctoday.com  that Alonya Lanskaya the 2013 Belarusian Eurovision representative will be going to Malmö with  Solayoh. The Belarusian singer won the 2013 Belarusian Eurovision national final with Rythm of  love, last December, and has opted to change her entry.

Solayoh has been composed by  Marc  Paelinck and penned by Martin King. You can download the song on Itunes here

The cooperation of Alyona Lanskaya and Mark Paelinck started just after the  2012 Belarusian Eurovision National Selection elimination round. The first successful project was the song Don’t say sorry which will be included into Alyona Lanskaya’s first English-language album.

Martin Paelink is very pleased that Alonya will sing his entry in Malmo next May, he has said: After the recording of the songs I realized that Alyona will be able to successfully perform my song Solayoh, which has  been written specially for the  Eurovision Song Contest .  I heard how Alyona sang, got acquainted with her creative life,  got to know her personally, and once again realized that she will be  able to reveal the meaning of the song and share the energy of love and inspiration with the audience. This energy will never leave the European audience indifferent. That’s why I decided to offer Alyona  Solayoh.

According to the authors, the idea of the song is based on an abstract planet  where its  inhabitants are kind and sincere people. They believe in miracles and that everything that  happens is a miracle. They live in the present moment, are able to live every moment of their life bright and happy. There’s no drab existence and there aren’t single people. Their hearts are filled with love. They draw their inspiration to express and reveal themselves through music, dance and laughter. The main components of the success in life on the planet Solayoh are trust, hope and love. The mission of our planet is to share the energy of love and inspiration.

Alonya is very happy and honoured to sing her entry and has said: When I heard the demo version of the song Solayoh, it immediately found echo in my heart. First of all, I listen to my own feelings: love, happiness, joy of life, to the joy of feeling the world around us. I felt myself a part of a wonderful world. I can easily invite each listener to the planet and share the atmosphere of happiness, love and joy through the music. And as once Alice in Wonderland said, “to draw anything in your life, imagine if it is already there.

The recording of the song Solayoh was held in the Abbey Road Studios.
