The Swedish music producer Tore Johansson  revealed  on Thursday on the website of the Malmö-based newspaper Sydsvenskan the song title of  the Dutch entry  at the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest.  Birds is  the song that will be sung by Anouk, the popular singer who will represent The Netherlands in Malmö.

It’s a beautiful song, but  it has no chance for victory.  It’s sophisticated music with many chords, but not a song that wins the contest.  It was Anouk itself who came up with this idea to use it for the contest, stated the international producer Johansson to the magazine. He also said the song title would be Birds falling down.

The song will also be heard on the new album Sad singalong songs which will be release on 17 May 2013.

Johansson has his own music studio in Malmö, where he has record three songs for Anouk’s album, including her Eurovision entry Birds.

The Dutch broadcaster TROS has confirmed that the song is called Birds and that it will be premiered in mid-March.

On Friday morning Anouk herself posted on her Facebook page:

I just heard that my producer Tore thinks our song is too good to win the Eurovision songfestival. Is that even possible? Have Faith young Skywalker! The force is strong with this one 🙂

By The way the song is called Birds and not Birds Falling Down. Have a Magnificent Day!
