Sofia Vitória will be presenting her debut album this coming March.

Palavra de Mulher, recorded with pianist Luís Figueiredo, was composed by the Brazilian poet-musician, Chico Buarque. The songs on the album explore the broad range of day-to-day experiences in the lives of ordinary women.

Sofia will perform songs from the album alongside Luís Figueiredo at the Centro Cultural Olga Cadaval in Sintra, Portugal, on 15 March.

The singer won the second series of Operação Triunfo Portugal and represented the country at the 2004 Eurovision Song Contest in Istanbul. Her song, Foi magia, did not qualify for the final.
