Record company Universal Music Germany has fired Gracia. The German Eurovision Song Contest representative faces this severe punishment for accusing her colleague Jeanette Biedermann of charts manipulation. Gracia's concert tour has been cancelled.

The German charts manipulation story surrounding Gracia is escalating. German media are reporting that record company Universal Music Germany has fired Gracia. “We don't plan any further cooperation anymore with Gracia,” Michael Kucharski of Universal Music stated in a reaction.

On top of that all, Universal Music is considering to file a complaint against the German Eurovision Song Contest representative. Gracia accused her Universal Music colleague, the popular singer Jeanette Biedermann, of having manipulated the charts too. Gracia's promotion tour, including the concerts as supporting act in Vanilla Ninja's Blue Tattoo tour, have been cancelled.

The more Gracia is being discredited, the more German broadcaster NDR is getting under pressure. German Head of Delegation Jürgen Meier-Beer however keeps strong. “We have a contract with Universal Music which is guaranteeing us her performance in Kyiv.” NDR thus keeps supporting Gracia in her Eurovision Song Contest participation.
