On 20th March Belgium's French speaking community selected Nuno Resende to represent Belgium in the semifinal of the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest. Esctoday.com interviewed the Belgian representative for Kiev.

In a final presenting the best two songs submitted to RTBF's Eurovision Song Contest selections, Nuno Resende defeated Tiffany Ciely. As a result the 31-year old singer, born in Portugal, will sing Le grand soir in the semifinal of the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest.
