Wig Wam's record company has promised that a new load of singles will be arriving at the record stores across Norway by Thursday. Last year's Melodi Grand Prix winner Knut Anders Sørum only managed to occupy a place in the Norwegian Top 20 for one week.
The increasing interest for Melodi Grand Prix also reflected itself in the ratings for this year's show. 1.352.000 viewers, or 80% of those television viewers, watched Melodi Grand Prix 2005 last Saturday.
