The light in our soul, written by Kostas Bigalis for Helena Paparizou, has been released on CD already! Songs for the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest should not be released before 1st October, 2004.

According to Amazon.de, The light in our soul has been released on 25th May, 2004. The single appeared under the name Big Alice. An audio sample, which is available at Amazon.de, makes clear that the Greek final song for Helena Paparizou and the song released in 2004 are almost identical. The audio samples of both version can also be heard on oikotimes.com.

In a first reaction to Star Channel, Bigalis denied the accusation. ERT is currently investigating the situation. However, it's likely that The light in our soul will be disqualified and Helena Paparizou will sing three songs in the final on 2nd March.
