Last night, PBS BiH announced the 15 songs selected for the final of BH Eurosong 2005. Not all composers, in particular the foreign composers, proposed a singer to perform their song. Therefore the broadcaster of Bosnia & Herzegovina is still looking for about 5 more singers to perform in the final.

“The composers were allowed to suggest the singer,” explains Vesna Andree Zaimovic of PBS BiH. “Therefore, at this moment we have a respective list of singers. Foreign composers mostly left this to us. There are about 5 shortlisted songs without proposal.”

The next couple of days PBS BiH will invite some interesting singers from Bosnia & Herzegovina to perform one of the songs selected for the final of BH Eurosong 2005 that are still looking for a singer. Vesna Andree Zaimovic expects that all songs will have found a performer by the beginning of February and adds that PBS BiH is looking for the best solutions for all songs.

PBS BiH feels very encouraged by the whole range of styles at BH Eurosong 2005. The final will feature songs from brit rock to R&B, rap, new age and chanson ,… and of course the Abba style is present in Bosnia & Herzegovina too.

The final of BH Eurosong 2005 will take place on 6th March 2005. 50% jury and 50% televoting will be used to select the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest representative for Bosnia & Herzegovina.
