�eljko Joksimovic, this year's Eurovision Song Contest runner-up from Serbia & Montenegro, accepted an invitation from greek media and will be holding a solo concert in the northern Athens township of Marousi on 20th August.

“This is the only occasion where we will have the Olympic Games very close to us and I did not, for a second, wonder whether or not to accept this offer to join this manifestation,” said �eljko at a press conference. “I am honored that I will have the opportunity to present my music to both the world and greek public.”

�eljko Joksimovic as well as the head of SOFT (Serbian Olympic Fun team) were received by the President of the Serbian Parliament, Predrag Markovic. He wished both the athletes and �eljko good luck in presenting a positive image of Serbia & Montenegro to the world. The 2004 Athens Olympic Games are the first time the nation competes as Serbia & Montenegro.
