Romanian broadcaster TVR received 21 songs for the national selection for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Only 14 songs satisfied the rules. TVR's national final takes place on 25th September.

21 songs for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest were submitted in Romania. Romanian broadcaster TVR had to disqualify 7 of them because they offended against the rules. From 16th until 20th August a jury will judge the songs and select the best ones for the final. These are the 14 songs that still are in the running:

• Irina Gorga – Vis
• Livia Theodorescu – As putea alege
• Alexandru Petcu – Tot ce-mi doresc
• Raluca Paraschiv – Cantecul meu
• Lara Popescu & Alexandru Matios – Asta e vacanta
• Noni Razvan Ene – Iti multumesc
• Dana Gabriela Mares – Vreau sa fiu artista
• Alexandru Andrei Tiba – Suflet de copil
• Patricia Maria Matei – Copiii viitorului
• Giulia Silvestru – Liniste
• Florin Matei Tibacu – Reactie in lant

The Romanian Junior final takes place on 25th September.
