EBU: Armenia becomes Associate Member

The Armenian Public Radio and Television has become an Associate Member of the European Broadcasting Union. However, that won't be sufficient to participate at the Eurovision Song Contest where only Active Members are allowed.

The Armenian Public Radio and Television has made a first small step towards the Eurovision Song Contest by becoming a member of the European Broadcasting Union. However, a participation is not possible yet since the Eastern European country only became an Associate Member.

Only Active Members can participate at the Eurovision Song Contest. These are the 52 Active Members as they are listed on the European Broadcasting Union's official website:
