The head of the Latvian delegation at the 49th Eurovision Song Contest, Iveta Lepesko, is sure that Fomins and Kleins did their best on the stage.

The Latvian delegation has evaluated their predence at the 49th Eurovision Song Contest and generally are satisfied with the contest.

All members of delegation are very happy, that during the contest they have received very positive attitude towards delegation as well as participants. Besides, they are very content with the organisers, specially mentioning that tehnical problems which were during dress rehersals were solved before semi final on 12th May after three protests which were handed in by delegation, complaining about light and sound problems.

Even after embitterment after the qualifier round results, the Latvian team took part in several parties, including parties at the Russian embassy and Ukraine and Serbia & Montenegro party, to show that they are still optimistic about the future of the Eurovsion Song Contest in Latvia.

Latvia reached a 17th place with the song Dziesma par laimi in the qualifier round of the Eurovision Song Contest. They received 23 points and didn't qualify for the final, which took place on 15th May.
