Next week, a video for the Belgian song 1 Life will be shot in the Netherlands. A first step to try to get the 12 points from the Netherlands on 15th May in Istanbul. In the meanwhile, 1 Life hit the top spot of the Belgian single charts, the addition of the Flemish and Walloon Ultratop.

Next week, a video for Xandee's 1 Life will be shot in the Netherlands. According to Xandee, there are two reasons for recording it in the Netherlands: Firstly because of Robert KC Brouwers, a well-known Dutch director who already shot videos for many Flemish artists. And secondly to launch the promotion campaign for the single 1 Life in the Netherlands, which is scheduled to start next week. Finally, by playing on the Dutch media, Xandee's team hopes to get the 12 points from the Netherlands on 15th May in Istanbul.

The video of 1 Life is made for the international market. No Eurovision but an international looking video should promote the song abroad in the weeks before the Eurovision Song Contest. 1 Life will be the theme of the video. Or quoting Xandee: The message is clear; you only have 1 life, enjoy it! And that's what the video will radiate.

Besides, Xandee's first full album is expected to be released before 15th May. Some songs have already been recorded in Sweden recently, in cooperation with some Swedish top producers. Also the Paelinck brothers have written some new songs for Xandee.

In the meanwhile, 1 Life hit the top spot of the Belgian single charts, the addition of the Flemish and Walloon Ultratop. This is especially due to the high sales in Flanders where Xandee holds the number 1 position for already three weeks. There is no trace yet of 1 Life in the Walloon Ultratop, something that should change soon and therefore ARS, Xandee's record company will start doing promotion in Wallonia from next week on.

Belgium is directly qualified for the final of the Eurosivision Song Contest that takes place on 15th May in Istanbul.
