On the Dutch Eurovision-mailinglist een_beetje it is rumoured that Gotthilf Fischer and Walter Scholz, together with some other artists, have submitted a song for the German national final next year. The song is entitled On the other side and the group wants to perform under the name Fischerman's Friends.

Gotthilf Fischer (75 years old) is a well known composer and conductor for choirs in Germany. He has sold 16 million records all over the world.

Walter Scholz is one of the most successful German trumpet players. He is one of the very few classic trained trumpet players that have had success in the light music.

The German broadcaster NDR does not want to comment on this rumour.
