After this year's success with their entry Weil der Mensch zählt, Austrian broadcaster ORF sticks to its preselection format. In the first weeks of March, Austrian televoters will be able to vote for their favorite representative to the Eurovision Song Contest in a televised national final song.null.vier.

On its webpage, ORF announced to show both rounds of the Istanbul-held Eurovision Song Contest, including the qualification heat on Wednesday in which Austria did not have to compete after the country scored an impressing sixth place in this year's contest and directly qualified for the final round. Nevertheless, Austrian televoters are allowed to vote in the semifinal as ORF claims.
