One month after the resounding victory of Netta at the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest in Lisbon, the wave of enthusiasm in the country is still very present. Just last weekend, our wonder woman performed at several Tel Aviv Pride events.

We are certainly not ready to let the Post-Eurovision Depression take over our lifvs. As former Eurovision representatives have been performing all around Europe at different Pride festivals, this year’s winner Netta Barzilai delighted the crowd at different events at Tel Aviv Pride.

Israel in Eurovision

Israel has participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 41 times since making its debut in 1973. They have won four times: 1978, 1979, 1998 and 2018, when Netta Barzilai took the trophy home after her resounding victory at the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest in Lisbon, Portugal, with the song Toy.
