The first rehearsal and press conference took place: Iceland's Birgitta Haukdal entered the beautiful stage. While the computer network in the Sonto Hall press centre suffers some problems, esctoday.com tries to continue with its on-going coverage.

According the the present press, Birgitta's rehearsal went great, especially because of her feeling with the camera. During the press conference she told that she will get some more camera training from Selma (Eurovision Song Contest 1999 for Iceland), who will arrive Wednesday to join Birgitta.

“We are not to win here but to join this fantastic project. I heard the other songs too and I have my favourite, but I can just say it's gonna be a fun contest”, Birgitta said to esctoday.com.
