The Armenian representative at Eurovision 2016, Iveta Mukuchyan, has released her new single Depi nor irakanutyun.

Iveta Mukuchyan performed her latest release for the first time at the Miss Armenia Beauty Pageant last night, and released the video earlier on the same day. Iveta wrote the music herself, and collaborated with songwriter Avet Barseghyan on the lyrics.

Depi nor irakanutyun translates into English as “Towards a new reality”. The lyrics have an ethereal feel, talking of a positive future and changing lives for the better together with someone.

At Eurovision 2016

Iveta Mukuchyan represented Armenia at the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm with the song LoveWave following an internal selection via the Armenian national broadcaster.

At the final of Eurovision 2016, Iveta finished in 7th place with 249 points, Armenia’s third best result in the contest.
