The first open rehearsals of the first semi-final evening are taking place today in Kyiv, just one day before the official start of the 62nd Eurovision Song Contest. Now we are going on with the next 6 entries.

In today’s first open dress rehearsal, the 18 participating entrants have performed a full run-through of today’s show – the same way as it would run during the live broadcast – in order to make sure everything runs smoothly on the live night.

This is the first dress rehearsal of the day, with the next dress rehearsal taking place this evening. However in tonight’s show, the jury will be present and waiting to arrange their votes on behalf of their country.

These votes will be added to the televoting votes from tomorrow evening, with the top 10 countries qualifying to Saturday’s final.

06 Montenegro

After the 5 first act to perform at the IEC, the 6th entry to take the stage was Montenegro. Slavko performed his uptempo entry Space in his eccentric hair and dressing and impressed the audience.

07 Finland

Then, the show continues as it’s time for Finland to appear on stage. The duo Norma John had another impressive performance as in their first rehearsals. Norma John after their first two rehearsals managed to climb high in the odds and win the press poll. Now a qualification probably seems an easy issue for them.

08 Azerbaijan

It’s the Azeri‘s Dihaj turn to rehearse today and the singer with her team took to the stage. As is seems, Dihaj is there to bring Azerbaijan back in the left side of the scoreboard.

09 Portugal

The Portuguese entrant Salvador Sobral arrived in Kyiv yesterday for the red carpet and the contest. His sister Luisa rehearsed on behalf of him the previous days, as Salvador cited his health problems.

10 Greece

Now it’s time to enjoy the Greek participation. The “princess of pop” Demy appears on stage her entry This is love with her two dancers and show up even one more well-worked choreography by Fokas Evagelinos. 

11 Poland

Poland is the 11th act to rehearse on stage. Kasia Moś takes the stage to sing her ballad Flashlight. Kasia has not changed something from her first rehearsals at Kyiv.
