Anja is wearing the most colourful outfit we have seen so far. The bodice of her jumpsuit is mostly coral-red, but one vertical side is orange. The trouser part is tiered liked 1970s trousers in different shades of blue. This is all tied together with a bright pink belt. We don’t yet know if this is her final outfit.

Just like in the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix, Anja Nissen will perform completely alone on stage. When asked about it during the Meet & Greet, she answered:

I am alone on stage in order to concentrate on the performance because it’s an honest and empowering song, so it is better to do it solo.
Anja was born and grown up in Australia, but she admitted that they haven’t even met each other with the Australian entrant Isaiah Firebrace.

Denmark loves to copy-paste their Dansk Melodi Grand Prix performances and unfortunately that’s the case here as well. Anja is doing exactly the same performance by terms of choreography and camera movements. The backdrop is simple and not developing with abstract golden drops throughout the whole song.

If Anja’s voice wasn’t strong enough it’s even stronger now. Together with five experienced backing singers they make it even better. Towards the end of the performance Anja drops to her knees and that’s pretty much the only change from the Danish selection to the Eurovision stage.

Denmark will probably do much better than in the last two years but again, it’s the Danish trend to avoid daring and doing new stuff in Eurovision that won’t get them too far.

And of course, she got the Emmelie de Forest waterfall of pyro at the end.
