This dress is the first of two possible dresses that Claudia may wear for the semi-final. It is a long-sleeved, full-length, figure-hugging silvery-white gown, dripping with glittering embellishments and pearls. The white dress does make her look slightly like a bride, but this is one of the classiest outfits we have seen so far.

Claudia is next to appear in her meet & greet session with the press, in which she talks about her brother’s previous participation in Eurovision together with why he inspires her:

Fabrizio was always my idol, I was practically a teenager in 2001 when he was with Another summer night, and he made me believe I could do it. He told me all I have to say is to send those emotions through Breathlessly and all of us will be supporting you.

Claudia mentioned her team behind her competing Eurovision entry:

My songwriters always believed in me and they said if you wanna come back we would be pleased to write songs for you. At the recording studio I listened to Breathlessly and it was a rollercoaster of emotions. I decided to go back to the Malta Eurovision and made it!

Claudia Faniello has been waiting for this moment since 2006 and now she finally takes to the Eurovision stage. After so many years of preparations – she knows exactly what to do. While many artists say that their song is ‘intimate and personal’ and therefore should be preformed alone – it’s almost only Claudia whom it really applies to.

She stands alone at the back of the stage with a white long dress full of pearls and the backdrop features her dressed in white as well with blue white effects. Not as creepy as Ira Losco! A strong rehearsal vocally with good abilities in terms of camera work and facial expressions. Depends on the other rehearsals, it might take the deep ballad spot directly into the final.
