27 Melodifestivalen Songs Announced

Swedish national broadcaster SVT have just announced that the 27 songs chosen to compete in Melodifestivalen 2010 will be announced in a live webcast beginning at 11:30 CET today. The winner of the competition will represent Sweden at the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest in Oslo, Norway.

The 27 songs selected to compete inMelodifestivalen 2010 by a special jury will be revealed from 11:30 CET. They will be joined by a 'web wildcard' to be voted for online and the traditional four wildcard entries invited to compete.

The names of the songs and song writers will be announced during the broadcast today. The artists that will perform the songs will be announced in several weeks time. The live webcast can be found at www.svt.se/melodifestivalen. The Web Wildcard (Webbjoker) voting begins on the SVT website from midday today.
