Tonight’s show

Semi-final 1 of Festival da Canção 2017 will be hosted by Sónia Araújo and José Carlos Malato at the RTP Studios in Lisbon.

In this first semi-final, 8 contestants will perform their potential Eurovision entries on stage. Four of them will go through to the final of Festival da Canção 2017 on 5 March.

The four qualifiers will be determined via a combined 50% televote and 50% expert jury vote, with each jury member being appointed by RTP.
