So who’s Demy, the next Greek Eurovision representative?

Demy, the 2012 Best New Artist winner at the MAD VMA, begun her career back in 2011 with great success. Born in 1991, the 25 year old singer appeared first in Midenistis’ song Mia Zografia, a song which became massive hit in the country. In the years to come, she collaborated with major names in the Greek music industry.

In 2013, she performed the 2008 Eurovision winning song Believe alongside Dima Bilan during the Eurosong 2013 national final.

Last June, Demy performed together with the 2016 Bulgarian representative, Poli Genova, her song If love was a crime, with a combination of Greek, English and Bulgarian lyrics.

In late 2016 and after 3 months of daily rehearsals, she’s co-starring with Despina Vandi at the greek version of the world famous musical Mama mia from ABBA.
