Regional voting in Croatia, songs online

The Croatian Eurovision website Esong reported that the three Croatian selection shows of Dora 2003 will use regional televoting to determine the twelve artists (six in each heat) who will proceed to the final night and finally the Croatian participant in Riga. The televoting will go on for ten minutes after the last song has been performed, and the Eurovision point system will be used.

The country will be diveded into five regions (pictured). Those are…

1. Slavonia (pink)
2. Dalmatia (yellow)
3. Istria, Primorje, Gorski kotar & Lika (blue)
4. North-west Croatia (green)
5. Central Croatia (red)

The compilation CD with the 24 entries were released on March 4, after the release had been postponed some days. Esong has now put all the songs online through the Real Audio technology, mentioning Claudia, Jacques Houdek and Alenka Milano as the artists with the most interesting entries.

Also, the broadcaster HRT's official Dora 2003 website has now been translated into English. Astonishing, as the broadcasters of neither Spain, Sweden nor The Netherlands, countries which really have put a lot of money in this year's Eurovision selections, have done something similar. The English version can be accessed from this page.
