The esctoday.com poll voters agreed with the voters in the national final: Susanna Georgi was the clear poll winner with 64.2% (almost the same percentage the televoters gave her). Mar Capdevila and Lluis Cartes had finished second and third in the poll with 21.8% and 13.9% respectively.

Andorra is one of only two countries (the other being Estonia) that managed to be eliminated in the semi final stages of the Eurovision Song Contest every year since 2004, when the new format was introduced. In 2008, Gisela finished 16th out of 18 in the first semi final with the song Casanova. In 2009, the country will take part in the first semi final on 12th May.
