Today is the third day of rehearsals for the Malta Eurovision Song Contest selection final. The last ten finalists had their opportunity to polish their performances before the big final this Saturday. Each of the finalists have had their first technical rehearsals and most participants performed up to six times making sure everything from sound and lights to camera angle is in the best order.

Today, all 20 finalists will complete shorter rehearsals in preparation for Saturday's live show. Rehearsals continue until Friday, but the assembled media are not allowed to film rehearsals.

For the third consecutive year the stage will be designed by Ruben Caruana and Mars Cutajar. You can visit exclusive photo gallery provided by our partner site escmalta.com showing the stage design of this year’s Maltese national final by clicking here.

The small island nation reached second place in 2005 with Chiara's Angel and she competes in the national final looking to represent Malta for a third time this year. Malta has yet to win the Eurovision Song Contest.
