TVE, the Spanish national broadcaster has organised digital encounters with some of the competing artists at the forthcoming Spanish Eurovision semi finals, Eurovision 2009 El Retorno. Today it's Mirela's turn to meet and chat to her fans online. Mirela will be trying for the third time to represent Spain at the Eurovision Song Contest with the song Nada es comparable a ti.

Mirela is the Spanish Eurovision fans hot favourite along with Soraya and Melody to win the Spanish national selection. Her song Nada es comparable a ti has been composed by the same team who were behind Spain's 2007 Eurovision entry I love you mi vida, which was performed on stage by D'Nash in Helsinki. Tony Sanchez Ohlsson and Thomas G:sson yet again will try to be composers behind the Spanish entry.

Mirela was the runner up at the Spanish Junior Eurovision national final in 2004. She tried to represent Spain in 2007 with La reina de la noche, composed by José Juan Santana (the composer behind this year's Montenegro entry), but missed out shortly as she placed 2nd. Last year, she tried her luck at the SalvemosEurovisión online selection but didn'tqualify for the national final.

The Spanish artist will be meeting her fans at 13.30 CET today. TVE, the Spanish national broadcaster, is working very hard on their Eurovision national final this year. 3 semi finals, 1 Second Chance and 1 final are in the line up for February and March promising to be a treat for Eurovision fans.
