The first heat of A Dal 2016 is now over. Out of ten acts, only six managed to qualify to the semifinal phase of the contest.
In the first round, the best five entries from the voting of the juries (80%) and the televoting (20%) qualified.
- Freddie – Pioneer (42p)
- Benji – Köteltánc (39p)
- Egy Másik Zenekar – Kéne közös kép (36p)
- Mushu – Uncle Tom (36p)
- Reni Tolvai – Fire (35p)
- Jázmin Török – Power of love (35p)
- Odett – Stardust (34p)
- Petra Veres-Kovács – Singing peace (32p)
- ByTheWay – Free to fly (31p)
- Fatima Mohamed – Ott leszek (30p)
Due to the tie between Reni and Jázmin, the jury decied that Reni would go directly to the next round.
Then, the televoting results decided which act out of the non-qualifying five will go through. The chosen act was Free to fly by ByTheWay.
