All eighteen semi finalists of the Bulgarian preselection for the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest are now available to listen to on the broadcaster's official site. There are three more songs that still remain to be heard, the three wildcards which will be produced by BNT.

Eighteen songs will be competing in the semi final of Blgarska Pesen Na Evrovizija, the show to choose the next Bulgarian representative in the Eurovision Song Contest. Half of them have been selected by a special jury and half by televote in the heats of the preselection. BNT, the Bulgarian broadcaster, will produce three songs which will compete directly in the final on 21st February together with the nine songs which will qualify from the semi. The three wildcards will be presented in a special show on 15th January. Krassimir Avramov’s song Illusion, originally announced as a potential wildcard, will be competing in the semi final after all.
