Roger Pontare, who represented his country Sweden on home ground in the Eurovision Song Contest 2000 with the song When Spirits are calling my Name, will host the fourth preselection in Melodifestivalen 2003, which will take place in the city of Sundsvall on 8 March.

The host of the third Swedish preselection, which will be organized in the city of Luleå on 1 March, will be Barbro Svensson, better known as Lill-Babs, who participated for Sweden in Eurovision 1961 with the entry April, april. Her daughter was the hostess of all four preselections, as well as the final itself, in Melodifestivalen 2002.

Mark Levengood, one of the two hosts of the Swedish national final, will as well co-host all the preselections except for the last one, known as The Viewers' Choice, where the two runner-ups from each preselection will compete for the last two entries in the Swedish final.
