With the song Somewhere by the river Mary Amora will participate in the first preselection of the Nationaal Songfestival 2003, the Dutch selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2003.

Mary was born in the Fillipines as Mary Jane Amora and moved to the Netherlands in 2000. One year later she performed in the Dutch edition of the Soundmix Show as Tina Turner and won.
