Serbia: Entry presentation on 10 March

The Serbian national broadcaster, RTS, has confirmed that the artist and song which will represent Serbia at the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest will be revealed on the 10 March.

In a special presentation show entitled Pesma Srbije za Evropu, this year’s Serbian representative who has been internally selected to represent the nation at the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest will be introduced to the public. Along with the representative, the official Serbian song entry will also be revealed on the show.

Pesma Srbije za Evropu will air at 21:00 CET on RTS 1 and will run for 45 minutes.

Back in November, RTS confirmed Serbia’s participation in the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest, stating that the selection process had yet to be determined. Serbia will compete in the second semi-final of the competition on the 12 May.

Last year, Bojana Stamenov was selected via a national final to represent the nation at the contest in Vienna. With her entry Beauty never lies, Bojana qualified from the first semi-final going on to receive a total of 53 points, finishing in 10th place.
