Hungarian national broadcaster has announced the dates of the forthcoming 2016 Hungarian Eurovision national selection; A Dal 2016.
Hungary will yet again select its Eurovision entry and act via their traditional national selection A Dal, as has been the case in the recent years.
The Hungarian national selection will be hosted by Tatár Csilla and Harsányi Levente.
A Dal 2016 will consist of a total of 6 televised shows: 3 heats, 2 semi-finals and the grand final. A Dal will kick off on Saturday 23 January and conclude on Saturday 27 February:
- 23/01- Heat 1
- 30/01- Heat 2
- 06/02- Heat 3
- 13/02 -Semi-final 1
- 20/02- Semi-final 2
- 27/02- Grand Final

The 2016 Eurovision Song Contest is scheduled to be held on 10, 12 and 14 May at the Ericsson Globe Arena in Stockholm, Sweden.
In 2015 Boggie won the golden ticket to Vienna with her song Wars for nothing and represented Hungary at the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest.
Hungary debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1994 and is yet to win the event. The country achieved its best placing in the competition in 1994 with Frederika Bayer.
