Denmark: Tickets to Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2016 go on sale

The ticket sale for Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2016, the Danish national selection for Eurovision 2016, will begin today at 12:00 CET. This year’s contest will take place in Forum Horsens on 13 February. Out of 982 submitted entries, a total of ten songs will fight for the right of representing the nordic country in Stockholm.

Around 3600 tickets are available in four different categories:

A (Red): 595 DKK  / B (Blue): 495 DKK / C (Green): 395 DKK / D (Yellow) – Restricted View: 295 DKK

It’s always special to experience the show live and be a part of Denmark’s biggest professional music competition. The music has been given a boost along with Midtjylland’s (the region in Denmark where the contest will be held) ability to have a party, DMGP 2016 will turn into a memorable event”, says Jan Lagerman Lundme, DR’s Head of Entertainment.

Last year, Denmark was represented in Eurovision by Anti Social Media with The way you are. They finished 13th in the first semi-final and Denmark was left out of the final for the first time since 2007. A notable participant of last year’s DMGP was Anne Gadegaard who was Denmark’s representative for the first Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2003.
