Hungary has chosen its representative for Vienna with quite an elaborate voting system. This victory makes Boggie the entrant who will carry the country’s flag in the Eurovision Song Contest 2015.

The eight finalists of A Dal 2015 defended their proposals for the last time in the Hungarian national final, which was broadcast live by the Hungarian national broadcaster MTVA. The votes of the judges Pierrot, Magdi Rúzsa (entrant for Hungary in Eurovision 2007), Phillip Rákay and Jenõ Csiszár left the audience with four artists in the final possibles line-up.

SMS and App votes by the audience awarded the ticket to Vienna to Boggie with the entry Wars for nothing, which will be on the stage of the Wiener Stadthalle in the second half of the first semi-final on 19 May. Should she make it to the final, she will attempt to improve the 4th place that Friderika at Hungary’s debut in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1994, which is to date the country’s best result. In the Grand Final in Copenhagen in 2014 András Kállay-Saunders reached the 5th position with Running. The first and the last have been the best so far. What will happen with Boggie in May…?
